The creator is very skilled but this story is not for me. I wished I'd seen reviews comparing it to Sex and the City before buying it; I loved Princess Jellyfish so I didn't investigate too closely; my mistake.

honestly this is just disappointing after how great princess jellyfish was. also if i were akiko higashimura's friend i'd probably be pretty insulted that this is the kind of story she decided to write based off our conversations

I've been meaning to give this series a go, after being a fan of Princess Jellyfish and so far I'm enjoying it and finding it amusing though maybe some aspects a little cringey, but at the same time that's the nature of the humor. So far, I'm not rating it as high because there is a lack of tenderness I found in PJ. Anyway, look forward to seeing where the series goes and likely to revisit, and hopefully finish reading, Princess Jellyfish after this one.
