3.5/4 stars and was hoping for a 5/5. Fantasy is not one of my favorite genres.. BUT I enjoy the story of Peter Pan and can appreciate this twist on the story. I loved the story. Loved the story. It fell short for me with the suspense and action. There wasn’t a lot of build up in certain situations and then instead of keeping us interested.. it just gave away the situation. It could have been so much better had had so much potential. It left me wanting more and overall was a good story. Glad I read it!

Cool concept but that ending was horrible. It honestly made the entire book a waste of time. Everything interesting happened off page! And I have so many questions that were not answered, about Peter, the magic system, the characters, Neverland (which we never see), Bell and Hook. Idk I didn’t hate it, and it kept my interest until the end somehow but as soon as I think about it analytically the entire novel falls apart.

MEH
When I first got the book I had heard good things about a modern Peter Pan retelling but this just didn’t meet my expectations I’m severely underwhelmed

That was a very interesting retelling of Peter Pan! I was talking to my husband about it as I was reading it since I knew he wouldn't and he was not thrilled with the way Peter Pan is portrayed and some of the things he does. Apparently he's a purist. Haha. But I thought it was very imaginative.

I felt the ending was anticlimactic.
