I'm giving this a "3" because the illustrations were WAY better than the story, so it sort of averages out.

I loved this book! I liked this one much better then 'The Man in the Moon' which had been a good fill in the blanks for the first chapter book. The pictures are wonderful and its about chasing away nightmares! Wonderful bedtime story!

The kids really adored the art and loved the story. The Guardians of Childhood books are so cute!

I absolutely loved the artwork in this book as well as the writing style. The story was cute and engaging, though I think I missed some of the impact of it because I haven't read the first book in the series. It is definitely a book I intend to read my son, even before he's old enough to watch Rise of the Guardians.
