GUARDING THE GOALIE by Jacob Chance, book three in the Charleston Coyotes series is Murphy and Wendyโs story.ย
Murphy, the goalie for the Coyotes, has a few weird packages delivered and realizes he has a stalker so he hires a female bodyguard who just happens to be his one-night stand.ย
Wendy is looking to try and get her business off the ground and doesnโt have time for anything else until Murphy shows up on her doorstep and requires her services as a bodyguard.ย
Murphy is determined to get Wendy to give him a chance but due to her past, she is quick to judge and reluctant to trust. The banter and chemistry between them was pretty decent. I struggled after the seventy percent mark as I found that the book took a turn and became odd and unbelievable in some spots.ย
I am looking forward to continuing the series and more books from the author.ย
