This has been on my TBR for a long time. I realize I haven’t been in the mood for this type of book in a long time. Loved the first one. Nothing wrong with this one. Just not feeling it.

Just delightful. This bounces around a bit more in time, as the author approaches leaving to fight in WWII, but there are still laugh out loud funny moments, amazingly well written sketches of the Yorkshire people, and touching animal stories.

Rain, sun, or snow I sit in my car and listen to these audio books, and they are always so wholesome and comforting. Don't know what I will do when I finish them off next year.
