A collection of short articles about BTS by Cruz for the Atlantic where she chronicles her journey of becoming a fan of, and later expert on, BTS from 2019-present. I love Cruz's perspective as a journalist and ARMY - her love of BTS helps her understand the members, their fans, and their impact, in a way that most non-fans simply cannot get.

I've read these articles when they were released, but reading them back to back showed just how remarkable BTS's growth has been over the past 3-4 years. Lenika Cruz writes about them with the upmost respect and admiration, and articulates really well what a lot of us fans feel about the guys.
I'm reading this in 2023, and as of now the members have decided to take a hiatus to pursue solo endeavors. Although it was a little bittersweet hearing that news last year, I can now read these essays and think "wow, what a great first chapter they had". I'm excited to see what is to come from them.

This book reminded me of my journey with BTS, what joy they’ve brought into my life, and why I’ll be ARMY for life! I highlighted so many passages that I could relate to!!
