Absolutely incredible. A must read book. The only complaint I have, is there is some ableism in this book, but it’s fairly brief. Lots of facts, studies, and charts, but all presented in an engaging and enjoyable format. Sure to get any progressives fired up about making the world a better place.

A nice look at progressive social and economic policies, supported by studies and summarised in a thoughtful way. This was a quick read and I found their ideas thoughtful, although at times maybe too idealistic, even when supported by research. I feel like sometimes the weight of counterarguments was glossed over too simply and not hashed out enough. Overall, I appreciated the general message and enjoyed the voice in this.

his chapter on universal income is quite intriguing, but for the rest i dont feel like i gain much… this could have just been a new article to me.

Strong cases built for universal basic income, shorter work weeks and open borders. Rutger, writes in a vivid, passionate way, yet researched. I'd like to have a deeper dive on how to do it, and less on the why, but I guess that just confirms by biases.
