Would have been a lot better if there was any world building.

It served its purpose for me. I just finished an eight book series and wanted something to devour. It was easy to read and had its moments to keep you interested. I’m not sure if I’m going to continue the series or not.

UPDATE, 10/2/2020: You guyyyzzzz! HEART OF FIRE, the follow-up story to BLOOD OF ZEUS, is done and off to our formatter! We are SO PSYCHED about the 2nd half of Maximus and Kara's story. If you haven't had a chance to read BLOOD OF ZEUS yet, be sure to get all their emotional goodness into your soul, to get ready! We love you all for the wonderful love for these two.

UPDATE: WOW!! The reader and reviewer love for Kara and Maximus is just...GAH. Thank you, world, for loving our demon and her demigod with such passion and fire! We guarantee you're going to LOVE "Heart Of Fire" just as much!

We really hope you all love Maximus and Kara's story. Writing this one with Meredith Wild was such a wonderful, awesome ride--and an immense honor. So thrilled the book is here for your enjoyment now too!

Enjoyed this book quite more than I anticipated. Loved the little plot twists at the end.

So I'm not really into PNR or mythology, it really is not my first choice to read so I wasn't really sure how I would feel about this book.

But boy oh boy let me tell you that Blood of Zeus was absolutely FREAKING AMAZING!!! Angel and Meredith have knocked it out of the park with this book. I mean WOW just WOW!!! I love it so much and am so desperate for the next installment!!!

This felt like one of those web novellas where you get the first five chapters free and you have to pay to unlock the rest of them.

I liked the premise of the book - but it felt like I got the intro. Like the backstory prologue and bam. Now you have to buy book 2.

Boring. Lots of romantic tension between the characters, and a lot of vague, sinister references to the FMC’s family history, but nothing gets explained.

I was really excited to read this book as I have heard good things about Meredith Wild and Angel Payne’s writing. Sadly this book was not it for me. When I started it, I was enjoying it but slowly that liking started going downhill. While reading this book, I felt as though I was missing an entire storyline of some sort because I was often confused. It’s like the plot dropped and the whole book relied on secrets between the characters which were obviously to the readers what it was. It was hard to enjoy the characters because I couldn’t get into the storyline and see what their whole story was about. The romantic chemistry was lacking. The ending ends with a minor cliffhanger but I don’t see myself picking up the next book.

*this book was sent to me by the publisher to give an honest review in return*
