Robin Kirk delivers again! I loved the continuing adventure of Fir and Dinitra. Another smart, action-packed thrill ride of a dystopian adventure. This series is a hidden gem--a little sci fi with a whole lot of heart. Can't wait for the conclusion in Book 3!

The Hive Queen is unforgettable. Kirk lets us feast on this new world - the Weave - as we travel through it with her rich characters. It's a strong follow to The Bond, and it's exciting finish will leave you eager for the third & final book.

Exciting story and immersive setting. In my review of the The Bond, I wondered in which direction Kirk would take the story and it was a great choice to follow the adventures of Fir and his brothers. Now that I have finished The Hive Queen, I find myself in the same situation -- looking forward to the third installment with high expectations for the possibilities!

If you’re looking for an epic fantasy type read, then this is one that needs to be added to that TBR. While THE HIVE QUEEN is the second book in the The Bond Trilogy, I was able to read and not feel too lost. I definitely want to go back and read book one to get to know the world more and get the new perspective.
The author gives us an incredible new world to travel to and she did a great job dropping us right in the middle of it. The writing really jumped off the page and the pacing was perfect to keep my attention from start to finish. As someone that doesn’t read a ton in the fantasy genre, this was a book that reminded me I should try branching out into it more.
The intricate world-building, the case of characters, and the engaging and imaginative story made for an entertaining read from start to finish. Plenty of action, love, and some twists to keep you on your toes! I’m very curious to see where the final book will take us!
