- Luke and his side's motivation for helping Kronos makes a lot of sense. Rather than being pro-Kronos and evil for the sake of being evil, they're anti-gods because they feel wronged by those on Mt. Olympus.
- The ending with Thalia coming back to life throws a wildcard into the mix; the whole story, they'd discussed here and there Thalia's anger with her father Zeus, so she could either turn out like Luke or Percy. It's a great cliffhanger to end on.
- Tyson is great, probably like him more than Grover. His presence further solidifies Percy's acceptance of their father Poseidon, which is cool.

The second book of the series, and again so much fun!

Though I must admit the beginning of this one was a bit harder to get through than part one, the adventure itself was still as thrilling as the lightning thief.

I do not have much to add: I will be looking forward to the third book!

Still different than the movie, and it’s nice to know the reason why Annabeth doesn’t like Tyson cause Thalia’s death. Tyson, Cyclops, Percy’s brother to save the Orange Camp with Golden Fleece. Nobody’s won. Kronos, Luke, and Percy. Thalia’s revival, Daughter of Zeus.
