This is definitely my favourite book in this series ♥
Iris is so badass (and I love that about a woman) and Wyatt (his name is weird though, sorry not sorry) wasn't outdone.
I think I watch too many detective TV shows.
The final was unexpected.

I never thought she would quit her job for Wyatt. no matter how much she loves him. Knowing that she's moving out of Miami, I feel kinda disappointed that she won't appear in future books anymore, but I won't take a star just for this.katsmiao's review

Loved this. sexy, hot, engaging, fast paced. Overall a great book, like the rest of the series. This book was hard to put down and had my heart racing the whole way through.

Childhood friends who married impulsively and currently on the divorce road, when he faces threats and gets her to protect him with hopes of winning her back. They're both strong and passionate, I liked their long history, and they have plenty of 🔥. I also liked the fact that she's the protector, plus she's lethal and packs a punch. What I liked less is her getting kidnapped ala damsel in distress, although at least she got herself out of it! . It's still an entertaining read but the pinnacle incident could've been different.

Iris and Wyatt..What a couple..
This book had me in a constant OMG mode..
Iris is so unpredictable and complicated and fun to read..She is ridiculously amazing!..Yes I admit she is one of my favourite characters EVER..And I LOVED even WORSHIPPED the scene where she ...um.....She is a goddess...
And Wyatt..He is so awesomely different..He is strong and smart and possessive..Yet he cannot bring himself say 3 small words to our girl Iris..He is adorable,but in the hot alpha-male kinda way..Especially when he is jealous and I mean seriously jealous...Ah I love those scenes,as well...

Todos los libros de esta saga pueden ser leídos tranquilamente como stand-alone.
Me gusto que la protagonista sea toda una luchadora, que sepa decir que no y que realmente no necesite de un “guerrero de armadura brillante” para defenderla o cuidarla, ella esta mas que bien por su cuenta.
Iris, ex marine, trabaja para la organización de seguridad Red Stone. En uno de sus casos se encuentra con Wyatt, el hombre ya amigo de la infancia con el que ella se caso en Las Vegas y al cual le lleva pidiendo el divorcio desde que se casaron.
Wyatt es un ex marine y actualmente hombre de negocios. Luego de que alguien intentara matarlo en su propia casa el contrata a Red Stone para su seguridad (en parte el también los contrata porque sabia que de esa manera Iris tendría que pasar tiempo con el). Por mas de que Wyatt sepa pelear y disparar eso no lo detiene de pedir ayuda cuando se da cuenta de que la necesita.
Okey, hay dos personajes principales fuertes e inteligentes.. Siempre hubo atracción entre ellos pero nunca confiaron sus sentimientos el uno por el otro (tanto drama por falta de comunicación). La química de los protagonistas fue buena y se notaba lo importante que eran el uno para el otro, incluso desde las primeras paginas del libro.
Respecto al conflicto y desenlace… Bastante rápido y abrupto. Y es la única queja que voy a tener.

Let me start by saying that Katie Reus brought her A game with this book! Iris and Wyatt had a great back story, which (IMHO) made them one of the strongest couples in this series. Iris is a strong woman, who overcame a tough background and learned to handle herself in any situation. Wyatt...insert sigh...likewise overcame a tough background, but is so in love with Iris, he'll do whatever it takes to keep her. He's so "in charge", I swear I sighed out loud every time he spoke! I loved the emotional fireworks between Iris & Wyatt. The suspense plot was also great. Just enough twists to keep the reader guessing.
If you're a fan of romantic suspense, I definitely recommend Katie Reus' Red Stone Security series. The books don't necessarily need to be read in order, but why wouldn't you? They're great suspense books, full of steamy romance & great dialogue!
