“Signed” by Marni Mann was a very quick read! It was also very spicy. There was a huge twist at the end I honestly should’ve seen coming, but didn’t! I love Marni’s writing style and just the little details she puts into her stories.

James and Brett’s story was predictable but so cute! I can’t wait to read the next books in the series to learn more about everyone else in “The Agency”!

I loved this book! What a lovely surprise it was! Very well written, nice fast pace, great dialogues that felt like any conversation you would hear in real life, and great characters with no terrible pasts, just some contemporary problems. This is a straightforward book, the characters have a problem, they deal with it. They grow closer together and the relation develops. There are obstacles that prevent them from being together publicly but they deal with the situation in a calm manner. I loved these characters!

This is a Hollywood story, featuring James Ryne, a very talented actress who has been working since she was thirteen years old. At the moment, she is getting over a bad breakup from her teen sweetheart, who now has a psycho jealous girlfriend. She’s with friends at a bar when she sees this guy who leaves her breathless. They have a one-night stand, but she’s very affected by the guy. They keep contact and have a few sexts and video chats, until a celebrity alert goes out to cellphones and social media. It’s a sex tape and James is the protagonist and it’s not good. Suddenly she’s the bad girl of Hollywood, she looses all her endorsement deals, all the roles she had been cast on, her reputation in ruins. Her manager takes her to the only man who can resuscitate her reputation and fix the problem. The only problem is that this man is super agent Brett Young, partner at The Agency, the premier agency for artists and players. He also happened to be the man she was having a fling with and who dropper her like a hot potato when the shit hit the fan.

The rest of the book was fantastic. I got a glimpse of how Hollywood works, and it wasn’t pretty. It’s all appearances and being connected. You play with the public perception. Brett is a master on manipulating a person’s PR and he reluctantly accepts to help James, once it’s established she was really a victim of a crime. She was videotaped without her knowledge.

This was Hollywood at its dirtiest. James and Brett give a good fight and all through the book there’s the mystery of who was the guy who filmed her and what was his motivation for hurting her this way? James works with Brett to save her reputation and meanwhile she’s searching for clues.

Brett was worried about James’s age; she’s eighteen to his thirty, yet she appears to be a very mature and sophisticated eighteen year old. She gives as good as she gets and she’s perfect for him. Together they face all the obstacles and overcome. It’s a great and entertaining read and both characters are great, strong, straightforward, passionate, intelligent. Side characters also make appearances and add a lot of support to the story. Entertaining and riveting!

4.25⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This was such a cute reprieve in between some of the dark romances I’ve been reading lately. I really loved the characters and their connection and this book had plenty of spicy scenes! Although I did predict the outcome early on, I still really enjoyed this. Can’t wait to read more books by Marni Mann.

This story burned up my kindle! It was so sexy and I couldn't get enough. It was scandalous and riveting and I was sucked in from page one. I loved the characters, even when I wanted to throw my reading device at them. I loved the storyline. It was different and entertaining and kept me glued to the book. I have read a few of Marni's stories and this one felt different from what I have read so far, which were darker, but I still absolutely loved this one just as much. I am loving everything I have read of hers and I am definitely looking forward to reading more.

A Quick fast paced book about how fragile life in Hollywood is. Brett and James were hotter than Hades together.
