This book deserves every 5 star review. Archer was beautiful, tortured, honest, and seeing characters deal with trauma in such a REAL way was extremely refreshing.

Bree??? A pillar of strength. So admirable and warm and brave. I shocked myself at the amount of times I teared up while reading. Flew through the book in 8 hours on a day off, so lovely and beautiful and all things good.

4.5

"Archer's Voice" by Mia Sheridan is a captivating and heartwarming romance that left a lasting impression on me. One of the standout aspects of the book is the representation of the main character, Archer, who is non-speaking. The author handles this portrayal with sensitivity and respect, highlighting the challenges Archer faces and his resilience in navigating a world that often misunderstands him. It was refreshing to see a character with such a unique perspective, and it added depth and authenticity to the story.

The relationship between Archer and the female protagonist was beautifully written. Their connection felt genuine, and the author did an excellent job of developing their bond as they supported each other on their healing journeys. The chemistry between them was palpable, and I found myself rooting for their happiness.

The story itself was strong from the beginning, drawing me in with its engaging plot and well-crafted characters. The pacing was well-balanced, allowing for moments of tenderness, growth, and emotional intensity. However, the ending felt a bit rushed and neatly tied up, which took away some of the impact and left me wanting more. Despite this, the overall journey of Archer and Bree was satisfying and emotionally resonant.

I appreciated the author's writing style, which was descriptive and evocative, making it easy to immerse myself in the story. However, there were occasional editing issues that could have been improved, although they did not significantly detract from my enjoyment of the book.

"Archer's Voice" is a powerful and heartfelt romance that explores themes of love, healing, and acceptance. The representation of a non-speaking main character, the portrayal of a healthy and supportive relationship, and the captivating chemistry between the couple make this book a memorable read. While the ending could have been more satisfying, it doesn't diminish the overall strength of the story. I would recommend "Archer's Voice" to fans of contemporary romance who appreciate stories with depth and emotional resonance.

3.75

I’m going 3.75 stars. This book was super cute and I’m obsessed with Archer! I want to protect him at all costs because he’s just so pure. The story was good and I enjoyed most of the characters. It was great to see asl representation in a book. I liked the growth for both Archer and Bree. My main turn off has to do with
Spoiler the implied sexual adult against Archer and how Bree’s reaction wasn’t recognizing that it was 100% rape. I know nothing actually happened to Archer at the strip club, but the reader, and Bree, didn’t know that initially so I was upset seeing Bree say that Archer made the “choice” to go in the back room. <\spoiler> Other than that though this book had me smitten

5.0

My rule is always that if a book makes me lose sleep and I can’t put it down and it is an automatic 5.0. This is exactly that book. I was so invested in what was going to happen with this couple. I hated Travis so much. I wanted to learn the backstory for both of them. I wanted them to succeed. I couldn’t put the book down. There were a few mean things that the author did but I can’t say because I don’t want spoilers. But they got me very emotional and then we’re like “psyche”. I don’t love that buuuuut it was well done. Definitely read this book. ASAP. Also, excelling smut level.
