Great storyline and the sarcastic quips the FMC were great! The ones she said to herself had me laughing because it's almoat exactly what I would say to myself!

Not sure what to think of this really, lol

I’ve had quite some remarks, but somehow it was still so enthralling and it left me anticipating the release of book two.

This was an extremely contradictory read. I was quite bothered about some things like the repetitive writing - the endless repetitions about how insanely beautiful and attractive pestilence is - but I also couldn’t always get a good feel on the romance.

I did like the gruesome and brutal writing and the paranormal elements the author wrote down. I’m really curious about book 2, when War is going to be introduced.

This really had no right to be this good. It just didn't.

And yet.

I really enjoyed this book, as a fun read, though I'd say it was my least favourite out of the series. Mostly because a vast majority of the book was with these two characters and any other side characters we meet are either attacking them, or die soon, so we don't really get attached to many other people. However, I did love seeing Pestilence start learning about humanity and love, and questioning if it's worth saving.

5 STARS PLEASE!

Spoiler Pestilence and Sara are amazing. I spend most of the book disliking Sara simply because at every turn she seems to contradict what she's thinking and feeling. Towards the end of the book her personality seems to have a break though for me and i actually begin to love her.

I LOVE PESTILENCE. from the very beginning of the book he stole my heart. I loved how he seemed to know nothing, but everything about humanity. His occasional compassion melted my heart, and despite his constant push towards his purpose his efforts to keep Sara alive were what pulled me in.

The eating and drinking was done in such a lighthearted way I was constantly smiling.
The way Pestilence would watch Sara and ask questions was always a fun part for me. Every time when Pestilence is hurt it brings the two of them together. It was truly special the first time she cared for him after being shot and the way he responded when she nearly drowned.

There is so much more i wish to say about this book. So much i wish to talk about, but overall i can not wait until book two comes out. I do not know what to expect, but with a book like this I know there will only be great things to come.
