In Shadows is a dark fairytale about a disgraced knight who wants to restore his honor and so he accepts to go in a quest in order to save Princess Islen from the Black Castle's monters but things are not what they seem to be at all.
I liked the atmospher of this graphic novel, the illustrations are beautiful and fit the genre of the story so well. The characters are so interesting and complex. All in all, it was really good and I hope for the next volume to be soon on Netgalley.

Nice and short Comic that is beautifully illustrated and has an interesting story! I especially like the artstyle and am looking forward to read the next book!

Ce n'est vraiment pas un coup de ❤️, mais c'était quand même une lecture qui a su me prendre par la main alors que l'intrigue me laissait un peu hésitante au départ. Je dois dire que les dessins sont très réussis, même s'ils sortent des graphismes que j'affectionne. Tout ça m'amène à une conclusion positive sans être enthousiaste, et à une envie de lire le tome 2, tout de même !

Beautiful, Elegant, Morally Grey Disney Princess + Himbo, White Knight with a Tragic Back Story!
This book was very interesting from beginning to end, and both main characters are compelling and intriguing.
Paired with an incredibly interesting world.
I was not ready for this book to to end, especially with the cliff hanger we are left on.

Beautifully drawn, I love the realistic style of art. A surprising twist on the damsel locked in the tower bit, it was a refreshing take on an overused trope. I thoroughly enjoyed this quick read! Looking forward to the next book in the series.

Arzhur, chevalier déchu, accepte de libérer une princesse contre une forte récompense. Les trois vieilles qui lui demandent de l'aide semblent pourtant bien louches.
Et il s'avère que la princesse ne souhait pas être libérée. Et qu'elle est plus mystérieuse qu'il n'y parait.
Elle rejoint alors accompagnée d'Arzhur le chateau de son père, mais c'est le chaos qu'ils trouveront à leur arrivée.
Bande dessinée fantastique, l'atmosphère sombre se prête à créer une ambiance de roman gothique. Islen n'est pas une faible princesse qui veut être délivrée, et Arzhur n'est pas une sombre brute sanguinaire. Leurs caractères sont traités un peu simplement peut-être, et ils semblent avoir très rapidement développé un attachement mutuel, mais dans l'ensemble, j'ai hate de lire la suite !
