I really liked both mcs. I feel like their character arcs were well thought out. 

It may be an auditory processing thing for me, but I struggle listening to audiobooks that do time hops. This is the second piece of the trilogy and I'm struggling remembering time frames between chapters just as much in this book as I did the first one.

I definitely liked this novella more than the first! There’s some insta-love, forced proximity (stuck in an elevator), and engineering rep. I do wish the miscommunication trope wasn’t the basis for the entire story. It made the MC, who has a PhD, seem a bit too immature.
