Aside from the main character this book had a lot of potential. But I felt like a lot of the choices she made were just so horribly stupid it made her unlovable as a character.

Like even if you thought someone could be framing you

…the choices she was making made her look awful. Straight dumb and you’re supposed to be a doctor ma’am? I felt like I was yelling at her the entire book. The overall storyline is actually good if you can get over the personality of the main character.

This had the signature McFadden twist, but it felt a little unfinished. Like there was information and threads without explanation. Also, the narrator was not my favorite. Also can't cope with a millennial character who just hasn't heard of a farmers' market? Like get real lol
