Thieves 2 Lovers by Ashley Rogers

Formats: Kindle & Audible

4 STARS
3 JALAPENO PEPPERS

AUTHOR K Webster JD Hollyfield
These two authors should just go away on a girls trip once a year and write amazing stories!! I usually don't enjoy all books the same in a series or trilogy and these have kept me hooked the whole time! Go Girls!!

NARRATORS AVA ERICKSON
She again delivers a performance that was so fun to listen too!!

NARRATOR JACOB MORGAN
"Read the phone book" is what I think of when I listen to his books, 100 % love the effort he puts into his books. You can always tell the ones who just don't have the heart in it, but you can tell he puts a lot into.

SOME SPICY CHAPTERS
Chapter 8 Dirty Dishes
Chapter 7 First Time
Chapter 9 Bad Stuff
Chapter 12 Sneaky
Chapter 13 Make up

KINKS
Public-ish
A-Play
Morning Time
Marathon Sex

THINGS I DIDN'T LOVE
I get why she didn't but she should have just told them who did it!!

THINGS I LOVED
This book has a secret recipe of all the good things that go into a book I love, touch her and die vibes, friends who have fun, Dirty Talk, girl coming into her own.

STEAM TO PLOT
There was quite a bit of steam in this book. The plot was there though, at times it you wanted to just yell at these characters and tell them to just communicate, but it was a really enjoyable read..

Oh my these two are a riot- and it turns out, are perfectly suited for each other! Although Thieves 2 Lovers could be read as a standalone, it would be so much better read after completing the first two books in the series, Text 2 Lovers and Hate 2 Lovers. Ram, Roman, Andie and Dani are all prominently featured in this book and it's so great to have them be such a big part of the story and to catch up with them. Thieves 2 Lovers is a friends to lovers story, and the friendship between Lincoln and Reagan was so cute and I enjoyed their witty banter and hot chemistry. Toss in a bit of hiding the truth from friends and family and Linc's sketchy background, and you've got what I think is the best book in the series. Sad to see this one end!
** I voluntarily read an advance copy**

First Read Review -
Keeping this review short and sweet. I will miss this series of friends that have turned into a family. This story about Linc and Regan is funny, sexy, and touching.

I've loved every single book in the 2 Lovers series, but Thieves 2 Lovers is my absolute FAVORITE! I adored Linc and Reagan--their entire best friends-to-lovers relationship. How Linc protected, loved, and helped Reagan discover who she was as a woman. The strength Reagan gained throughout their story.

"We are the thieves to one another’s hearts, holding the other captive."

There were parts that made me laugh out loud, swoon, blush, and gave me that "butterfly" feeling in my stomach. I can't possibly express how much I fell in love with these characters and their story. Everything K Webster and J.D. Hollyfield created in this book is fantastic!

Another NA romance. I am not sure I like this book. The writing is ok. What is lacking is the character development.

The heroine is especially annoying. She keeps feeling sorry for herself and hiding her abusive ex boyfriend. Even protected him. The twist and drama is standard.

The steamy sex is not steamy. Boring. I wish the authors can be more creative.

Overall I do enjoy the book OK

At this point I only have myself to blame for reading/disliking this book as I gave the previous two 2 stars. I think I just wanted a quick romance and was too lazy to find another.

I think I liked the heroine a bit more than the previous books, but tbh all were irritating. And for a relatively short book the story dragged on forever. There was also way too much sex in this. I'm all for some smexy times in books, but I was just bored with it towards the end.
