Once again proving I do not connect well with "literary" books, I couldn't wait for this one to end. If it had been 1/3 the length (easily possible by cutting out all of the irrelevant tangents), maybe I could have gotten behind this. As it is though, it felt like endless nothing filler with occasional plot.

I was not sucked in by this book and I didn’t care for the overall plot of the book so it made it a slog to get through.
