Great twist, really cool murder mystery concept, but the characters fell flat and the writing was bland. Too much dialogue.

A mystery-murder club has decided to spend a few days in a deserted and ominous island with a past marked in blood. They thought they would enjoy their stay, but one of them is out to kill them. Meanwhile, a former member has received a threatening letter and is now investigating the murder that happened in that island and how it connects to him.
A true tribute to the legacy created by Dame Agatha Christie herself! This had my attention since the murderer was introduced in the prologue. Even though this was a similar novel to And Then There Were None, it had enough different elements that made it unique. I knew who the killer was from the moment they were introduced but Ayatsuji messed up with my mind and I doubted myself. But the way the reader discovers the killer was.... chef's kiss excellent. A simple line that gives you the chills!
