If kids ruled the world, everything would be massively unsafe and everyone would be forced to participate in imaginative play until their teeth fell out. Talk about a kid-lit dystopia.

Love this one! The story is fun and would be a perfect springboard for a conversation that would be full of imagination and lead perfectly into writing! The illustrations are just so fun and inventive to look at. So much to do with this book!

OK, pretty much what you expect from the title. No out-of-the-box notions, kinda pedestrian. Pleasant and restrained illustrations. A "safe" book.

If Kids Ruled the World is a super cute children book about things that children would change if there were no adults making the rules. This is a fabulous short book with bright vivid illistarations, that will appeal to any youngster.

So much fun! Birthday cake would be good for you and you could go to recess school! Love the encouragement of imagination. This would be great for inquiry! I'm hoping to incorporate this with our Peter Pan OBOS.

I wasn't completely sold on this until about a third of the way in and then I took great delight in exploring the illustrations on each page and thinking about how much fun it would be if the book was a reality. This could lead into a wonderful writing project with students.
