this is the third time i've tried to read this and this book is just bad. i love dial a for aunties so much but this book is just bad. the plot is so thinly held together and all of the characters are reduced to cringeworthy versions of what made them lovable in the first book. also meddy is just downright mean to her aunties and ma in this and it makes me sad.

No idea how Meddy kept it together throughout this book! I would have been a mess of anxiety and tears 😂😬

Things get even more outrageous and convoluted in this sequel

Tbh I wanted to give it 3 stars but it was soooo funny.
I love the different personalities and rivalries between the aunties. I would have liked if there was a little more about the culture like in the last book.
The main character isn't really my favorite and i kinda expected something to go down at the end with Nathan or Nathans family at the end but it was kinda forgotten and pushed aside.
Overall, loved it! Would definitely recommend for a funny, cute book to have as a light read.
I listened to it as an audiobook and honestly the narrator deserves an Oscar lol

This book is so cute and quite funny!!! I literally laughed out loud a bunch. I have to say, the first book of the series (Dial A for Aunties) is my favorite - easy 5 star read for me. This one was good but not great… it lagged in a few areas, making me yawn a few times throughout but overall was cute/entertaining.

If you’re looking for a quick, funny and more light-hearted mystery this one is for you! I think it’s be perfect for laying on the beach or for prepping for you own wedding ;)

Gahhh, I really wanted to like this because I loved the first book so much. This book gave me such feelings of frustration... and not in ways it was meant to. I wanted to scream so many times, "Why are we doing this??? That's idiotic!!" It seems the Aunties were just written to be as brainless as possible in this one.

The goofy tone of the first book is definitely still present, but it was overshadowed by some of the cringe moments. Mostly, I just felt annoyed. No joke. This was such a drastic difference from Dial A for Aunties in the way it made me feel. I actually found myself annoyed with the Aunties this time instead of being entertained by them.

The number of times Meddy was MIA from HER OWN WEDDING grew to be grating. Every time she left, I could feel myself getting actively annoyed. Not to mention, Nathan just unrealistically just goes along with it. Ummm... he's a good guy, but there's limits, my dude. Let's be real.

Also? Nathan's parents? NUH UH. How did a sweet man come from THEM?? They're so awful
