Kristen (Kiki) Swenson is part of the UFO hunting group with her sister and various friends. They thought they had dealt with the alien invasion plot and were set for a bit of a breather but not this time. Kara has given birth to a half alien daughter, the result of her relationship with Greyson, an alien hybrid who sacrificed himself to save Kara and the gang in book 2. Kara is now happily settled with Lance. Kirsten feels an ominous presence and a sense of hatred and she knows that THEY are back! She's not a psychic like her friend Persephone but something hinky is definitely going on.

Martin Jones, “Man in Black” is a hottie and has been getting under her skin. Why is she attracted to the very guy who is making her life complicated. But when he gives her a hint to track down her mother, she realises there is more to thie MIB than meets the eye. She is left reeling that she is also part alien, but a more benign kind than those they are battling and Martin is also from the same species and begins to train her, but there is only so much he can do - he cannot interfere any further.

I dare you not to feel choked up when Kirsten meets her mother. But there is also some joy when she finally gets to meet her father! Another great character driven story with plenty of action and self discovery!!!
