Contemporary novel whose title translated to my language ended up as something more like:
Buckle up, we're taking off!
It is a story about a woman in late twenties that works as a flight attendant going trough some life changes.

There are some quirky lines and happenings but I was not all that thrilled with it

I picked this book up at the library randomly just because it had a cute cover. I am so glad I did because I really enjoyed it. I hate flying, but it made being a flight attendant look like so much fun! Overall, it was a really enjoyable book and definitely a quick read. The only thing I would have liked to see is more of what became of Michael.

I've always had a soft spot in my heart for Alyson Noel since I read my first novel by her Saving Zoe. She epitomizes young adult fiction to me. I love all of her books and love that they can make me feel like a teenager again when I read them. Young adult is definitely a guilty pleasure of mine and she's definitely at the top of my list.

Fun and a quick read, Fly Me to the Moon was a great choice of light summer chick lit for me. Flight attendant Hailey Lane comes home early from a trip and finds her pilot almost-fiancé in their bed with someone else. With her whole world turned upside down, Hailey makes the most of her airline job and it's perks to travel her way all over the globe, hoping to figure out her life and maybe even find a better man along the way. It was a tad predictable, but entertaining nonetheless, filled with lots of very likeable characters and an interesting insight to what it's like to be a flight attendant.

Favorite quote: "...blue rubber flip-flops that New Yorkers use for pedicures and Californians use for any event not black-tie specific" (As a Floridian, I so get this.)

Sometimes you have to indulge in a light read, and this one was surprisingly good. Chick-lit for sure. I chose it to indulge my wanna-be flight attendant and even had a Pride and Prejudice type of plot. Not bad for a quick, light read.

I read this while on a business trip, so the plot interested me more because of my recent air travel. I really enjoyed this and feel it's a solid chick lit novel. All of the characters are unique, and Hailey's ups and downs kept me entertained. Though it was predictable and I knew the general direction where the story would go early on in the book, I still had fun reading it. Plus, it's nice how little brain power a nice, light read like this takes. ;)
