Holy crap this book. Just wow. The spice is 10/10 top notch. The story is just so ahhhhh. The number of times I literally squealed out loud while reading is high.  Greer was a little on the annoying side but the guys. Holy crap the guys. More than made up for it,

Wow I didn’t know I was THAT kinky! This is not my typical read but the love I feel for this little love triangle is immeasurable. I really appreciate the value placed on consent, the power of submission and the acceptance of all kinds of love. Beautifully written story and characters, ending on a cliffhanger to keep you hooked.

I was in such a crazy reading slump and this just made it worst.

Ash is such a horrible person wow??. Like everything he did was so icky and genuinely questionable.
The fmc is such a dumb bitchhhh. Ahhhh i cantt stress enough about how toxic this way. Also why did i even force myself to finish this???

I am……speechless…. I honestly have no idea how I felt about this book. Did I love it? Hate it? Idk. There were many things I didn’t like about the book - Ash being the president (it was such a turnoff and didn’t add to the story at all), him being so mean (I get it he’s a dom but it just made me uncomfortable and took me out of the story sometimes), and let’s not even talk about the made up history/war that was lowkey racist and again totally unnecessary. HOWEVER it has been a long time since a book made me gasp and scream out loud, jaw dropping - such visceral reactions that I have to give sierra simone some credit. I stayed up late to finish this bc I was so invested!!!

One thing I have to say is Sierra Simone knows how to write a spicy AF book!!! Whether or not I love the plot and the characters, the spice is always on point!!!! She's the Spice queen!

I had really high expectations for this one because it's been on my TBR for the longest time. I was lucky enough to get it on sale when the ebook was free on Amazon for a short period of time. In the end I liked it. It had a unique story that I hadn't read before. I think the reason why I couldn't give it a 4 or 5 stars was because I didn't feel attached to any particular character. I did feel some sort of empathy for each at one moment in time, but I didn't feel like I could relate to anyone.

And the cliffhanger at the end?! What?! I honestly did not plan to read the rest of the series...but I might change my mind now.

I was warned but I didn’t listen. I was told that this story was layered and more than it seemed, but again I didn’t listen. I should have listened, I should have listened and not waited to read this book. This book is so much more, it has so many different dimensions, from timelines, to character development you are not going to be able to put this one down.

This is my first Sierra Simone book, and I am hooked in the best way. The way she portrays Greer with both strength and vulnerability is a beautiful sight to see. Her connections with both Ash and Embry are simply magical.

This is the first book in this New Camelot series and it does exactly what it is supposed to do, it peaks your interest and leaves you wanting for more. Yes there is a cliffhanger, but at this point the entire trilogy is available for you to binge away, which is precisely what I intend to do today.

Don’t be like me, listen, and read this book, I’m so glad that I did.
