This wasn’t an all engaging read for me. A nice and light read for someone who is looking for some Christian romantic suspense with search and rescue dogs (which is right up my alley) but I didn’t feel the buy-in to the plot or the characters enough to make me obsess over every little thing. It may have been that some of the descriptions and faith pieces had my eyes skimming and skipping over paragraphs at a time.

Very enjoyable romantic suspense novel!  It is very well paced, and the characters are extremely likeable.

Desert Rescue captivated me from the first sentence. I usually don't like suspense and find it boring, but this one kept me on the edge of my seat. I had to know what happened next. I loved the characters so much and wanted to know how their story ended. Every chapter, every page, kept the story moving and showed the characters struggling with their past. All they went through and the pain it caused was finally set right by the end of the book.
This book may be a suspense novel, but it had a beautiful love story in it as well. They never stopped loving each other, not even when everything was working against them and they were forced apart. Finding each other again was the best thing to happen to them. Now they can heal together, as a family.
