Great book! My husband read this to me at bedtime, and (I kid you not) it actually did make me very drowsy! Very relaxing and calm feel! Wonderful bedtime book.

Great alphabet book as it uses a lot of words with the letter they are highlighting all at the same time, some parts don't flow as well, but this is a very unique take on alphabet/bedtime book.

After a busy day, children need a quiet book before bedtime. Just say the title of this book and you'll know right away that this is a perfect choice. It's a lovely combination of an alphabet book and an animal book and a book of alliteration and a good night book. The amazing alliterative text by Crescent Dragonwagon will whisper you to sleep while the gentle illustrations by the amazing David McPhail will lull you to dreamland.

This is a perfect animal alphabet bedtime book for a child that is never sleepy. Talks about opposites in an intelligent manner. Uses vibrant descriptive words and unusual animals: I = Ibex, Q = Quetzal, U = Urubu.
