Another very nice novel by Cecilia Ahern. A bit predictable but overall I enjoyed this bit of light reading and thought it was perfect for a rainy afternoon with a cup of tea.

This story is fantastic. We follow the journey of Katherine "Kitty" Logan, a journalist, in finding 100 people to be interviewed based on the list of 100 names given by Constance, her recently-died best friend and editor. Through the journey, Kitty learns that everybody has interesting stories to tell. There's no such things like ordinary people have no stories to tell out of their normal, ordinary lives.

Finished the book and here I am sobbing and laughing at the same time. I'm also left with an itch to open the telephone directory, but that could be a bit dangerous, right?

I've read every one of Ahern's books, and some are really good, whereas others are only so-so. This was one of the good ones. I enjoy her writing style, and this one had characters that were interesting, with a storyline that was compelling. It kept me guessing all the way to the end until the secret was revealed. The secret was perhaps a bit underwhelming, but the message was still a good one.
I liked this book, I'll be passing this one around to friends.

Completely original, utterly simple and yet totally enthralling. I can't remember the last time I enjoyed a book as much as what I did with 'One Hundred Names'.
There weren't any gruesome murders, there weren't any big, tragic Nicholas Sparks style romances, there wasn't any lusty Fifty Shades sex, and yet once I'd started reading this book, I was hooked. Couldn't put it down!

This is the story of Irish journalist Kitty Logan and her quest to write a story in honor of her recently deceased mentor and friend. The idea is that Kitty will write and publish a piece that Constance had on the back burner and never had time to do. Kitty finds a file folder in Constance's home that contains a list of one hundred names. No explanation or story ideas, just the list of names. Kitty sets out to discover what the names mean and finds more than she had ever imagined. One Hundred Names is an inspirational story with a great plot and well-written characters. Cecelia Ahern continues to write readable, enjoyable stories.
