I think this book just cemented Carian Cole as an auto-buy/auto-read author so much that she could write the text on the back of a cereal box and I'd gladly buy it and read it!

I read Torn first, having heard great things--I loved it. Didn't even imagine that this one would beat it tbh; but it sure did! I just swooned over this couple and loved how they found love and safety in each other after both having been through such painful pasts.

This is a story of soulmates brought together by means of twisted fate. The world was going to bring these two together even if it meant they'd hurt so much before they'd find their forever. The bonus scene at the end literally had me sobbing and I feel like I watched a painfully tragic romance play out in a movie..but of course with the most beautiful happily ever after. I'd give it 6 stars if that were an option here. Highly recommend!!
