In less than 30 minutes this turned me into a sobbing mess.

Made me reflect on many of my own insecurities with my 'racial identity' growing up in the UK, and my own sense of not feeling like I belong, then pushing away things to later regret.

A heartbreakingly, wonderful story that will stick with me.

I read this for a class, and I really liked it. I immediately sent it to my mom. It made me feel guilty about how bad my Chinese is.

This is a very short story but it had me bawling like crazy, and I like how real it feels and I'm sure you can say it's a true story, but regardless of what it is... I needed something like this (thanks rayhanah)
