Such a weird book. Nobody was likeable and the "solving" of the crime was bleh.

Op de cover staat "Internationale bestseller" en ik kan het maar moeilijk geloven want ik heb in tijden niet zó'n slecht boek gelezen.

Het is gewoon cringe hoe vaak we moeten lezen dat de hoofdpersoon een voorbereidend jaar op de uni heeft gedaan. Cringe wat voor rare dingen ze doet; zomaar in iemands huis gaan en dan een vest aantrekken en op de bank liggen?

Ik heb heel wat detectives/thrillers gelezen waarin getroubleerde vrouwen een uitstekende hoofdrol spelen, maar dit verhaal behoort er niet toe. Eendimensionaal, ongeloofwaardig en ongelooflijk slecht geschreven. Sla het over, het is zonde van je tijd.

3,5 étoiles. Je me suis amusée avec ce bouquin et je lirai sans doute d'autres œuvres de Guillaume Musso un jour. Il n'était pas trop difficile à comprendre pour moi qui ne parle pas français couramment. A mon avis, la prologue est plus intéressante que l'histoire, mais je suis contente qui je l'ai lu quand même. J'aurais aimé vu Valentine plus ; surtout je crois que les personnages dans le second rôle n'avaient pas assez d'apparences.

This was an interesting book. I enjoyed the setting and the storyline itself is really interesting. There seemed to be backstory missing. Roxanne is on probation at her job due to a reason never stated and there were loose ends at the end that never wrapped up fully. I can tell the author is very talented and I will check out other books by him.
