As with all of the other Jess Keating books in this series, this is highly interesting nonfiction with engaging pictures and information. This collection is all about animals that are the biggest in their categories--definitely learned some new facts about capybaras and some other animals that I'd never heard of before! Sure to be popular with kids.

Another fascinating addition to The World of Weird Animals series! I like that Keating uses bananas as her comparison to animals' sizes - that's a concrete unit of measurement for young readers!

The World of Weird Animals continues to provide fascinating facts of unique creatures. It's a great way to be aware of how many animals are out there just waiting to be discovered and we must do our best to protect them.
