I couldn't put this down. It was so good and right up my alley!

There's something I love about exploring old wrecks or houses. The exploration of the unknown. Throw in horror and it is just perfection.

I read a few by Darcy Coates and while they were good I wasn't rushing out to buy more, but after reading Parasite and then this one, I'm a fan!

I flew through this. It was my first Darcy Coates novel and I enjoyed it quite a bit. Do not read if you are claustrophobic!

A group of divers exploring a shipwreck, do we need any more explanation? It’s been done before and they’re all pretty much the same. That being said, I like haunted shipwrecks so I’ll continue to read about them.

SO GOOD. Once I got into it I ignored or condensed all other responsibilities so I could listen. Creepy and claustrophobic.

This book was absolutely horrifying. My stress levels were through the roof reading this. Ocean horror is, in my humble opinion, one of the scariest subgenres of horror. It is made so much worse with
Spoiler ocean zombies
thrown into the mix. I was genuinely scared at times throughout this book.

The flashbacks to before the ship sank juxtaposed with present day was really well done. I felt like it added another terrifying layer to this story. It made me think of the Titanic but if it was a horror movie instead of a romance.

5 stars. I have nothing bad to say about this book. I'm so glad I found it at my local library and I will definitely be looking for other novels written by Darcy Coates in the future.
