I love this book. I loved how most of it was focussed on her trying to get into her new faction BC that in itself was so interesting. And the ending was just a surprise to me. All in all I loved it.

Engaging and empowering. A little bit teen romance novely in parts but not overdone. Good enough to make me want to read the next one.

Excellent examination of what happens when we all use our values to create personal stereotypes and forget that different is okay.

Five stars because this book was just brilliant. It did remind me of the Hunger Games - maybe because they're both dystopian books but I'm not comparing them. They're both magnificent and I loved this book by Veronica. It was recommended to me countless time and when I finally got the chance to read it - I couldn't stop!

Really worth a read and now reading Insurgent. Already more than half way through it and loving every word.

Underwhelming. Obviously not as bad as Twilight (could anything ever be as bad as Twilight?) but the plot and world created just never really engaged enough for me to be able to ignore the teenage girlie angst. Still, wouldn't be depressed or particularly upset to find it appealed to my teenage daughter if I had one.
