Strange. I didn't like it and I don't see why this won an Eisner award. There isn't much of a plot. All of the major characters seem to be mentally ill and the reader is largely left with insanity as an explanation for their behavior. I didn't like the art and found the lettering to be rather maddening. The authors were trying to set a mood by using script and frequently having text trail away into tiny, illegible scrawls, but I found that really irritating.
