Drinking game where you take a shot every time Poe uses the word “phantasmagoric”

Perfect when you’re in the mood for dark, vengeful, twisty tales. Didn’t love every story but overall enjoyed.

The cask of Amontillado = Some people are meant to be stupid hoes

Hop-Frog  = Yass King!

Ms. Found in a Bottle = Can't remember much but, ghost ship? Descent into hell? Boring

Ligeia = Nice very nice, actually want to know what happened after the fact, and not what I actually read

The Fall of the House of Usher = Well, okay? Suspicious? Yes

William Wilson = Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde but reverse and in his head

The Masque of the Red Death = Try to hide bi+£h

The Imp of the Perverse = Weird diary thingy, boring.

This was a perfect little collection to read during the month of scary tales, witches, and horror flicks. Poe really is a glorious little master of suspense, and terror. Dated as these stories are, I'd happily argue they are still relevant, and just perfect.

Well, these short stories took longer than I thought. I forgot how much I liked Masque of the Red Death until I read it again. Can't read this all in one go or I'd lose all faith in humanity, aha.
