I'm not really a fan of the interview-style storytelling.

I really enjoyed the first part of the book, but the focus on the military in the second part was just not for me.
I liked the way the book is written, just very different from a "normal" book. At times I had to remind myself that it is only fiction, because it seemed so real.

Overall a good book but it was a bit too long in my opinion and in the end I started skipping certain character stories if I was not invesged in them right away.

I am quite disappointed. I remember this book being so terrifying when I read a chunk of it when I was 12 but now that I've finally finished it. It's more of a political thriller with a side of zombies. On its own, World War Z is decent but it's not what I was looking for. Overall, I didn't not enjoy this but I didn't enjoy it. Better luck next time.

Time to read a zombie book. It’s been too long

I picked this up at an airport bookstore and its not my normal type of read. I finished it, which earned it an automatic 2 stars. I added an extra star because I found it interesting, if not overly technical. It was fairly well written and suspenseful at times, but it dragged on and on. There was a lot of war strategy that I found dull. I am interested to see how this play out in a movie. This is just an average book.

Ohhhh my god this was hard to get thru. This is definitely not the kind of writing I am into but I can appreciate that it’s well done.

Interesting read, especially because it's presented in the form of a collection of oral histories. Wonder how the movie version is like though. It must be very different from the book.
