This was an enjoyable take on being summoned to another world. I enjoyed more of the adult perspective rather than a teenager's. The research aspect to it was fun and I loved the main character's ability to adapt. Enjoyable!!

It was cute.
It reminded me of Inuyasha in that (in Inuyasha) everyone thought that Kagome was the reincarnation of Kikyo, a priestess, and that Kagome’s powers came from her relationship to Kikyo. They were wrong as it’s later revealed in more manga volumes and anime episodes.

So in that sense, I’m hoping that Sei’s (in The Saint’s magic power is omnipotent) powers as a Saint will be revealed to more characters, like the eldest prince for example.

It's okay as an audiobook to listen to while doing something else.

A cute light novel with pretty much the standard isekai trope and setting. Then again, I do so enjoy the mistaken saint trope added on top~ This was a nice palette cleanser and something easy to get through. There were times when the sentences felt a bit repetitive but it was fine as long as I didn't concentrate on it too hard. What I did really appreciate was the short scenes that allowed glimpses into the truth of what was happening behind the scenes.
