Man, this book was dumb from start to finish. Luckily it was a novella that I got for free. Annie is dense and annoying. Stop meddling or you deserve to be thrown in jail. I won't read more of the series.

Very predictable and not the bust writting but the story was still drawing and made me want to know whodunit.

Annie runs a beauty salon in a small beach side town. It is the slow season right now so Annie is grateful for any appointment that she gets. When one of the more difficult patrons of the salon drops dead, Annie comes under suspicion. Annie doesn't want to wait for the police to figure out she didn't murder anyone, so she enlist the help of a friend to find out the truth.
This was just ok for me. I doubt I will read the others.

Nice quick read. Good story play out, and character build up. Love these cozy mystery stories! Can't wait to read the next by this author.
