This is perhaps the best classic novella I've read so far.

George Orwell a creat această satiră într-un mod foarte inteligent și plin de subtilități.
Recomand audiobook-ul narat de Victor Rebenciuc. ☺️

So... Mankind consists of a bunch of pigs?
I'm glad I read this before lit classes made kill it with my steller analysis. I'm also quite depressed.
I agree that radical change is a myth. Change does occur, though. Look at the rights women fight for and get, the new laws for disabled people, the more inclusive work environments... etc. Does change take forever to happen? Yes. Should we stop fighting? I don't know.
I felt this book ended on an awful note. I don't disagree that trusting people in power is foolish, and working more than you have to for something that isn't yours is also foolish, but... now what, George? What do we do?
