Fun, fast suspense read that kept me turning the pages. Interesting main character is an insurance fraud investigator, not a detective, but he spots a missing 5 year old girl during the course of one of his routine investigations. The police won't take it seriously because he is just one of many who say they spotted the little girl, so he takes it on himself to try and solve the case and rescue the little girl. Will try more of books by same author.

This was a pretty decent book - not one I'd read again, but it wasn't bad.
The plot was interesting and I did like the writing. However, I felt that the ending was very predictable and everything was over really quickly.

A solid book with a likeable lead character, decent plot and reasonable action. A relatively light read good for a quick mystery fix. The ending came a little quick but still a fine book.

I really liked this book. Roy’s character was funny and snark but was serious and driven to solve this mystery. Really excited to read the rest of the series and more from this author.
