Lacked a sense of structure, but had some entertaining anecdotes.

U do not believe in capital punishment and reading this book only cements my view.
Ms. Poplak writes a comprehensive history of capital punishment in Canada. She gives details of the cases that went wrong and those that went right. She also profiles some of the hangmen who performed the deed.
This book was really well written and an excellent read for anyone with an interest in Canadian history.
