Wrong timing to read this story. Sadly not my cup of tea at the moment, however I would recommend to read this story to teenagers and pre teens

Slice of life feel.  Connected short stories feel.  Beautiful skilled writing.

This is the kind of book that would have sincerely freaked me out with existential dread as a kid, but I now love.
