The first volume was good but, without booktube and friends saying it got better and better, I wouldn’t have continued.
I am so glad I did as it got better and better until the end ! A great saga. I might even read the prequels….

Buddy read over at Epic Fantasy Books

YAY! I finished a series! I couldn't have done it without my reading buddies over at Epic Fantasy.

What an emotional roller coaster ride! This book and Wintertide especially, made me ugly cry. My least favorite book of the series was The Emerald Storm. Sullivan's a bit too detailly about boats. Imagine my excitement when we ended up back in a boat for this book.

Putting aside Sullivan's obsession with boats, The Riyria Revelations is an epic piece of work. The world building, action, magic and characters were solid. Solid enough to have me read 6 books in under a year. When I solo, I tend to procrastinate on moving forward. So glad to have buddy read this wonderful adventure. Rubbing my hands together in anticipation of the next series, The Riyria Chronicles.

Solid conclusion for this series. Listened to the Graphic Audio version all the way through and it did not disappoint. Would recommend!

An epic conclusion to a well written series. Once again, it's a bit long winded, and the author found a lot of ways to add a lot of lore into the world, but it did feel a bit shoehorned at times. Similar to Royce and his big reveal, I felt like the ending was telegraphed so long ago in the book, that it was drawn out for too long. But it was still satisfying ending and an interesting epilogue on a bit of the world beyond the major antagonists. Still recommend
