I've heard about this book so many times before. It is a 'classic' after all. I bought this edition (very beautiful one btw) in Winchester (UK). Mainly because of the edition. I don't know if I'd have bought it or even would have read it otherwise.

Honestly... I don't really know what to think. It's a pretty gruesome story. It's even after so many years still very 'current'. Since people are stupid creatures and dint learn from past mistakes. And even think like wars. I'm honestly curious what goes on in the minds of people who fight for more land. Why though?

Even though it a bit too 'horror' for me. It IS written wonderfully. That's also why I wouldn't say it's a bad book. The genre simply isn't my thing.

راح تتكلم عن الكتب بعد تتكرار في القراءة و اعتقد
في كل مرة افهم الكتب من منظور اخراء و هذا يعني
ان الكاتب جدا محترف
احب هذا الكتب لنه يصور الوقع
بشكل غريب و اعتقد ان الكلل يجب ان يجرب
قراءة الكتب لفترة صحيح ان عداد الصفحات قليل و لكن
واصل كل شي بشكل ممتازة
مشاعر الشخصيات
القصة مكتوبة بشكل مميز
و هذه التجربة الثاني لهوه

I now understand why this is considered a classic and why it was banned in certain parts of the world. At first I was worried it would be too much like a caricature, but then the plot actually kept me interested. This loses a star because it contains a single argument that became very apparent a third of the book in.
