Not quite as good as the first one but mostly because I understood the world pretty well and there wasn't as much of a twist in the ending.

okay, I surprisingly (are we surprised) really enjoyed this! this was a fantastic second book.
I loved our main characters. rian was *chefs kiss*
THE BANTER was fabulous !! I adored the slow burn of this one and the way these two bounced off each other was great.
we got a lot more world building and plot in this one. I wanted to see more from the queen and this forest and I feel like there is a lot more to come. I appreciated our secondary characters involvement in this one even though there was less than book one.
the writing was easy to follow and the characters really came alive on the page.
I will definitely pick up book three!
