This was really enjoyable. It was harder hitting than I thought it was going to be. I honestly forgot what this was about so it was basically a mystery to me. I loved a lot of the topics discussed like grief and family and coming of age as while as sexuality. I really enjoyed the characters even though they were really quirky. I didn’t really love the writing style and how everything was described like it was to arty for me. Which makes sense why because they are artists but it was too much for me at times. Also I didn’t love the age gap of a 16 year old and a 19 year old. They did discuss it but then they just continued on.

There is so much laced into the pages of this beautiful little book—life, love, grief, regret, and what feels like the whole damn world. It made me feel all the feels and I hope it does the same for you. 🥲

Noah and Jude are twins, they’re inseparable. Until they’re not. This is their mesmerizing story.

I’m very late to this party but I get it now. Holy hell, what a book! From every metaphor to gold-filled crack of character flaw, it took me on a ride that was somehow soul-crushing and soul-fulfilling at the same time.

(You just know if this book were a drink, it would be Guillermo’s coffee, in a handmade mug.)

That first I found the book very boring and slow, but as the story progressed it became easier and more satisfying to read.

AAA this made me so emotional <3 I really like the kind of book that makes me reflect on the way I live life :') the only thing that made me a bit annoyed was how annoying Jude was for a bit in the middle of the story lol other than that, it was lovely!
