Kay Scarpetta does it all! This time she dives for a body in the dark and conducts a hostage negotiation. This is the 7th book in the series so the reader should know what to expect by this point. Regardless, it’s a fun read per usual did this series. I always finish an installment wanting more.

Just as she's finally going to get some repercussions for all the adultery her and that man do, they just choose to keep the good times going. I want her to feel bad for more than 100 pages.
