Eleanor Oliphant is.. surprisingly comforting. While it took some convincing to get the story started, Eleanor grew on me. Her combination of hermit lifestyle and grandiose ideas of found romance were incredibly relatable. I enjoyed watching her process througha physical self transformation one piece at a time all while gradually progressing herself more toward the main stream. Will keep on the shelf for a future read

I really enjoyed slowly learning about Eleanor and her story. To begin with I found her to be confusing and annoying, she seemed both too old and too young to be 30. As the story unfolded it became apparent why this was the case. Overall all it was a good book, with an unexpected twist at the end.

This book was just amazing. I found myself completely captivated by Eleanor's complex and raw journey as she navigates the world in her own unique way. I laughed, I cried, and I felt all the feels. Definitely a 5-star read for me - it's one of those stories that I'll carry with me for a long time.

Ok that was crazy actually

Slow start, but when we got to the “bad times” section, things really picked up. Left me feeling every feeling by the end. Such a unique refreshing book. I was set on it being a 4 star read but it just kept getting better closer to the end. I think I’ll be thinking about this one for awhile.
