I like Guillory overall and I know this is about a winery but like it’s superrr about a winery. I made it 14% but probably only actually read 5% bc I’m skipping so much alcohol jargon.

As a non alcoholic drinker this book is not for me lol

I never read rom-coms back to back but had a library due date situation. This book made me wish that I owned a winery in Napa. It’s Guillory so it’s sexy as hell from the get go. Don’t be fooled though, it’s actually about how hard we can be on ourselves and how hard it can be to see oneself as those who love us see us. Good stuff from the romance master. I love Guillory’s approach to romance novels. Thank goodness she’s so prolific.

A little more spicy and sexy than JG’s typical stories. Well written and fun.

This was a cute story, but nothing really jumped out. I had actually purchased the book then decided to check out the audiobook from the library... not a good idea. There was nothing wrong with the narrators, but their voices definitely didn't fit the characters. I can normally finish a book in 2-3 days, but this one was so slow that it tore me a while to get through it.

I really want to love this book, but it was just a little too long for me. Nothing much really happened in the book. It was very repetitive and a tad boring. I like Guilllory writing, but the storyline was nothing special. It was just okay.

Loved that this was set in Napa, as I consider it home. There was a huge miscommunication trope in this which isn't my favorite, but overall this was a great book and Luke is so lovable.
